Garden Volunteer Sessions
Our gardens at Jefferson and Washington Houses are open to masked individuals to help grow food for our neighbors. East Harlem was considered a food desert long before the pandemic, and residents need fresh, free, organic produce more than ever. Families have already planted carrots, arugula, potatoes, and other delicious crops. You can help grow and distribute food, and maintain these educational gardens. Individuals may volunteer once or regularly. Adults must register separately. When young people (ages 0 - 17) attend, a parent or guardian must register the child and a designated adult must be present for the entire event. To obtain our signature for community service, be present from event start to end and let CS staff know before the event starts on that day.

Board of Directors
Seeking seasoned professionals passionate about CS' mission. Track record of leadership in business, government, philanthropy, or CBO and board experience.
Junior Board
In its first full year, young professionals will make new connections in the local community and lead fundraising and community service events.
Fund Development Chair
Lead the fund development committee to support more youth more often! Experience in fundraising, sales, or similar required.
Events Task Force
Volunteer for CS' Events Task Force to support 2-3 events per year celebrating youth and community contributions.
Quantitative Analyst
Complete quantitative analysis of program-related data and assist with report development on organizational outcomes.
